Across the world, housing markets play a central role in economic growth and the operation of financial markets. We hope to attract an international researcher who has a key interest in exploring the economics of housing markets and mortgage finance either by examining these on a country basis or by carrying out an international comparison of the dynamics associated with selected countries. This project will be jointly supervised by Professor Joe Nellis and Professor Catarina Figueira. Both have extensive publication records in this domain over many years.
