Contact Chenhao Mi
Background
Mr. Chenhao Mi is currently conducting his research on offshore renewable energy projects as a PhD candidate at Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é. Chenhao completed his MSc in Renewable Energy at Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é, majoring in Marine Engineering and Structural Analysis. The strong interest aroused by the master's projects prompted Chenhao to continue his research on offshore solar floating platforms under the supervision of Dr. Luofeng Huang. He is looking forward to applying his academic achievements and practical experience to offshore structure experiments and innovative engineering solutions.
Research opportunities
Mr. Chenhao's research mainly utilises the wave tank at Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é to undertake experimental designs and prototype tests, paving the way for scientifically sound and practically feasible floating solar platform structures for nearshore and offshore usage. His research interests are driven by the vision of multifunctional floating solar platforms—efficient in energy capture and durable against the fluid forces of waves.
